This policy applies from 1 September 2026. The data controller is the owner and operator of the Kriptoholičar website, who can be contacted through the published WhatsApp and Telegram channels.
Data processed by the website
The website does not require a user account. A comment requires a name or nickname and the comment text. You may optionally leave an email address, a phone number, or both if you want the website owner to contact you. Those contact details remain in the website repository's private GitHub moderation queue and are not published with the comment. A comment becomes publicly visible only after the owner approves it. Standard hosting logs may contain an IP address, request time, requested address, browser type, and information needed for security and page delivery.
Charts on the cryptocurrency page use TradingView only when a chart approaches the visible part of the page. The browser then connects to TradingView, which may receive technical request data under its own privacy terms.
Cryptocurrency prices
The browser refreshes prices through the Kriptoholičar API address. The server then retrieves market data from CoinGecko. CoinGecko does not receive data entered on Kriptoholičar because the price display has no data-entry field.
Contact and external services
WhatsApp and Telegram links open external platforms. If you choose either one, further processing follows that platform's terms. If the free Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam protection is enabled, it loads only when you start interacting with the form and checks a submission before it is accepted. Every new comment remains unpublished until a moderator approves it. Google tag, Microsoft Clarity, and BOEI help are disabled in this version and are not loaded.
Purpose and retention
Comment data is used to moderate and publish an approved comment and to reply if you provide contact details. Private contact details are kept only as long as needed for moderation or a reply and are then deleted, unless longer retention is needed for security, abuse prevention, or a legal claim. A published comment remains available while the page exists or until you request its removal. Technical logs are kept according to the hosting provider's security schedule.

For a privacy question or a request for access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, use the published WhatsApp or Telegram channel. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may contact Serbia's Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
Changes
Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
